THE John and Pauline Kayser (JPK) Foundation, which was recently established under the Elbethel Full Gospel Church, has taken the opportunity in light of Youth Month to provide a platform where all can learn about educational health and social development services.
The JPK Foundation has observed and noted the current rate of unemployment among the youth. Upon this, the various members of the foundation deemed it fit to offer a programme that will conclude this Youth Month with various opportunities for unemployed individuals.
The foundation will be working alongside the Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA), which convenes on skills development. The involvement of SETA, together with the foundation, aims at empowering the youth and offering educational assistance on various areas that individuals can seek work.
“There will be a variety of motivational speakers as well as SETA-provided opportnities for which the unemployed youth can apply. Thereafter, all the members present will be provided with entertainment,” said Iveda Smith, a member of the JPK Foundation.
The youth rally will take place on Saturday, June 30 at 09:00 at the Elbethel Full Gospel Church in Arcadia. All are invited and there is no entrance fee. For more info contact Iveda Smith on 082 324 8846.– NWABISA FUNDE
