KAMVELIHLE-BASED side Khuphuka Stars earned a hard-fought 1-0 victory over Real City during their Motherwell Football Association (MOFA) First Division clash which took place at Motherwell NU 9 Stadium on Sunday.
City had a bright start to the game, but their strikers squandered many scoring opportunities.
Stars kept their defence tight at the back. Their strikers delivered some salvos, but City’s goalkeeper managed to deny them. The first half ended in a stalemate, while the goalkeepers pulled off world-class saves.

Sithole’s second goal was disallowed by the match officials after he had been adjudged to have scored it from the offside position.
Eventually, the game ended 1-0 in favour of Khuphuka Stars.
In another game, Young Romans’ unbeaten record came to an abrupt end when their neighbours, Future Stars, deservedly edged them out 2-0 in their scintillating clash which was played at Motherwell NU 9 Stadium on Saturday.
