FRESH from the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, performer and raconteur David Muller is riding into Port Elizabeth for a once-off performance at Eddie Macs at the Victoria Park Sports Club on Wednesday, July 11.

F Creations and The Merry Scholar are proud to be teaming up with the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) in PE for an evening of storytelling and good fun and to help raise funds for such a worthy cause.

The evening will start with some audience favourites, stories told by the loveable Oom Schalk.

This famous character was created by Herman Charles Bosman and is brought to life by Muller, under the direction of Celia Musikanth of Circle Productions.

After interval, Muller will switch gears into Heathecote William’s Whale Nation, directed by Claire Watling. This is the epic poem Muller is performing at the NAF in Grahamstown this year.

All proceeds raised will be going to the AACL Port Elizabeth’s outreach account for launching dipathons, spayathons and outreach veterinary care in the indigent areas. They also have a rural outreach programme to Alicedale, Bedford and Adelaide for an annual spayathon in each of these towns.

Your support will give far-reaching help to those who cannot speak for themselves.

Their sterilisation total for 2017 was 2 789.

Tickets are available at R85 each and can be booked via email on hinoon@netactive.co.za or via WhatsApp on 083 635 6995.

The club bar will be open for refreshments as well as the resturant for patrons who wish to have dinner.

Audience members are welcome to bring along a picnic hamper if they wish to have light snacks before and after the performance.

Please note, no beverages can be brought into the venue but will be on sale at club prices at the venue bar.

Doors open at 19:00.
