WALMER Football Association (WAFA) hosted the exciting WBHO Councillor’s Cup Knockout Competition games at Walmer Community Grounds over the weekend.

Golden Heroes were awarded soft points over Young Cosmos. It was a do-or-die situation when Ghetto Stars defeated Walmer Stars 4-3 on penalties as well after their game had ended in a 2-2 draw.

Peace United were not in a peaceful mood, when they hammed Hammers 4-1 in their one-sided game.
Young Cosmos FC will participate in the SAFA Nelson Mandela Bay LFA SAB Promotional Play-offs in Motherwell on July 13 after they had won the WAFA Premier League title on Sunday.
