A robbery incident in Humewood on Saturday evening, October 26, allegedly left a tourist injured after being attacked by a group of men in the area of Happy Valley.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, it is alleged that at approximately 18:30, the complainant, who is residing in holiday accommodation, decided to take a walk to Happy Valley in the bushes.
“While he was walking, he was approached by approximately six men, who demanded that he hand over his belongings.
“The complainant indicated he had no money, and one of the suspects attacked him with a knife, stabbing him in the shoulder and in the back,” she reported.
“The suspects took his watch, an undisclosed amount of cash, and some other personal belongings, and fled on foot.”No one was arrested, and the investigation is ongoing,” she added.
