HARVEST Christian Church, renowned for its worship ministry and musical heritage, will be launching their debut worship album on December 1.
The album is made up of original songs, all written, arranged and played by Harvest church members.
It was recorded locally at the SABC Studios and produced in the UK by Henry Marsden, a well-known international Christian record producer.
The album will be available for sale at Harvest Christian Church Walmer campus, as well as through iTunes and Google Play.
“To everyone who will listen to these tracks, we want you to know that throughout the rehearsals and the recording of these songs, we felt the continuous and tangible presence of our Father God’s love. Our prayer is that as you listen to the music play, you too will experience His beloved embrace,” said Dwayne and Lushe Greeff, worship pastors.
As part of celebrating the album release, Harvest will be hosting a citywide worship event and encouraged everyone to join in.
The church at Walmer campus was established over 30 years ago and additional sites have been added more recently at Kleinskool, Colleen Glen and Sherwood. Harvest is a part of the Church of the Nations cluster of churches and Mark Scholtz is the senior pastor.
The citywide worship event will take place at the Harvest Walmer campus in Albert Road, on Saturday, December 1 from 18:00 to 20:00.
