SAFA Eastern Cape has confirmed that their office will close for the festive season on Friday, December 14.
According to SAFA EC provincial executive officer, Isaac Klaas, they decided to close their office following a long year with some challenges.
Klaas said the office will reopen on Monday, January 7, 2019. He said the 2018 season has been particularly outstanding, but there were some challenges that they managed to overcome.
Klaas issued a stern warning to those who will be driving during the festive season that they should not drink and drive at all.
“On behalf of the provincial chairperson, Mzimkhulu Fina, and the provincial executive committee, I would like to wish all the sport-loving people and players, as well the media, a joyous festive season.
“Lastly, thank you all for your unwavering support during 2018. We performed well because of your support. Let us continue to do so next year,” Klaas said.
