TWO Nelson Mandela Bay learners recently won big in Shoprite’s Class of 2019 competition.
Lizanne Prince (14), a learner at Linkside High School, won R5 000 at Shoprite Greenacres and Khazimla Bombani (6), a learner at St Augustine’s Primary School, won stationery worth R1 000 at Shoprite Govan Mbeki Avenue.
The annual competition calls on learners from Grade 1 to 12 across the country to gather pen and paper and submit a short essay or creative drawing describing what they want to be when they grow up.
The competition gives Shoprite the opportunity to support learners who demonstrate creativity and are able to dream big.
Lizanne dreams of becoming a mechanical engineer and Khazimla dreams of becoming a teacher.
