THE Jongilanga Training Development Centre will be launching their Better Boys Better Men Programme on Friday, March 8.
The centre is a support group to mothers and children that relies on donations from organisations to keep helping the surrounding community.
The programme forms part of their In4life education and stimulation programmes for the orphans and vulnerable children.
“The purpose is to help our orphans and vulnerable children build their self-actualisation and become better men,” said project manager, Nosipho Peter and programme coordinator, Pelokazi Tshantsheni.
The centre’s main objectives are to build self-reliant and independent individuals.
“We want them to be leaders of the future. Our mission is to help them as much as we can. However, we can only achieve with the help of God and the support we receive from our community.”
The Better Boys Better Men programme launch will take place at Jongilanga Training Development Centre in Mandela Street, New Brighton, on Friday, March 8 from 14:00 to 16:00.
