BAY duo, The Judge and The Dodger, will be providing a cosy, intimate setting for the audience to enjoy their music, which they label as “rustic folk”.

The Judge and the Dodger will entertain with a mix of well-known songs done in their own unique style from artists such as Cat Stevens, Neil Young, Leonard Cohen, Rodriguez, Bob Dylan, Randy Newman and even Sting.

The Judge and the Dodger was born in 2016, when these two seasoned songwriters and musicians became neighbours. Kenworthy Robert Collier and retired solo musician Doron Blackman got together just for fun, and have been playing together ever since.

Collier has served time in community theatre and done stints for Shakespeare in the Park.

He also played keyboards for PE’s infamous Coffin Dodgers.

Blackman hosted The Solid Gold SundayShow on Bay FM for a number of years.

The show will be taking place on June 1 at 19:30 at Art on Target, 2 Target Kloof, Port Elizabeth.

Entry is R80 per person.

Bring your own drinks, but glasses and ice will be provided. Food will be available from the Wrap Café.
