JAZZ’AFRO Sundays is proud to be hosting the Syndicate Sisters at the PE Opera House, The Barn, on Sunday, June 2.

Syndicate Sisters is a group, originally comprising three siblings from Uitenhage.

The girls grew up singing in church and at local functions.

They then went on to record three albums and to perform all over South Africa and abroad, sharing the stage with the likes of CeCe Peniston, The Manhattans, The Temptations, Letta Mbulu and Caipphus Semenya.

The sisters count singing at the 2010 World Cup, hosted in South Africa, as one of their biggest highlights.

Over the past few years they have been travelling and performing internationally and have settled in Port Elizabeth. Unfortunately, one of the sisters has since passed on.

The remaining two are however still very active in the local live music scene and they also teach children music whilst still working on recording their music and live performances.

Admission is R70 and R50.00 for pensioners.

A cash bar will be available at the Ideas Corner (upper foyer) and the Sweet Counter (ground floor) [open an hour before the show begins and after the show].

Bookings can be arranged through Cingiwe Skosana on cingiwe.skosana@gmail. com or with Nomgcobo Mkize on nomgcobomkize@ gmail.com or on 041 586 2256.

The show starts at 17:00.
