A TOTAL of 58 cadets successfully completed their training in the basic traffic officers’ course recently.

The Executive Mayor of Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, Mongameli Bobani, together with the Member of the Mayoral Committee for Safety and Security, Noluthando Pink, and the director of traffic and licensing, Warren Prins, congratulated the graduating class.

“Graduates, you have chosen to stand up as defenders of our constitution, charged with the responsibility to ensure that our people are safe and secure. In doing so, we express our gratitude to you for choosing law enforcement as a career,” Bobani said.

According to Bobani, the metro is committed to recruiting and training more traffic officers to ensure safety on the roads in the metro.
