THE musical theatre production, Blast from the Past, has been a big hit with audiences over the last three years and the show is now back with a great new line-up, featuring favourite classic hits from the ’50s to the ’80s.

The two hour show promises a great time for everyone, whether you were around when the songs came out or just love great music.

The cast is a musical who’s who and features Blast regulars Doron Blackman and Ken Collier, Valentine’s Cabaret stars, Cailan van Heerden and Siya Simanga, G&S newcomer and popular local singer, Francois Malan, alongside Angela Freer, Candace Juhl and Tuan Thalla. They are joined by dancers Sian-Beth Hitchener, Megan Calder and Kerry-Lee Jeffrey.

The line-up includes iconic songs from Frank Sinatra to Whitney Houston, The Beatles to Barry Manilow, Cindy Lauper to Patsy Cline and many more all-time favourites.

The show runs at the Savoy Theatre from tomorrow, July 25, to Saturday, July 27, at 19:30, with a matinee at 14:00 on Saturday.

Tickets are available from Computicket at R80 each or R75 for a group of eight or more and R70 for children, students and pensioners.
