Two Port Elizabeth Express staff members were honoured at the Media24 Legends Awards on Friday, which were held at the Nasdak venue in the Media24 building in Cape Town. These prestigious national awards celebrate staff members who have excelled in their different fields of work. Tasmia Ismail, General Manager of EP Media and Die Burger Oos-Kaap, received the Values Award, which is given to a recipient who lives the Media24 values of courage, respect, integrity and accountability. The winner is someone with a contagious smile who pursues his or her goals with equal amounts of fun and perseverance and who invigorates colleagues, audiences and clients with a positive can-do attitude to life, and inspires all to excel with a smile. Ismail (left) was given this award for the way in which she manages the processes and leads the team at Die Burger Oos-Kaap and EP Media.
