THE long-awaited Port Elizabeth China Town has arrived and it is with great excitement that the official opening has been announced for Friday and Saturday, November 1 and 2.
PE China Town will be an amazing shopping experience offering more than you bargained for!
This new mall will be inside Kings Court on Buffelsfontein Road in Walmer Heights. It is the brainchild of three very dynamic entrepreneurs who has spent the last year securing tenants to offer a variety of stores and goods for sale to the residents of Nelson Mandela Bay and their visitors.
Together with their attorney, Cezanne van Zyl, of Van Zyl Cronje Inc,, they have successfully managed to revive this centre and turn it into an oriental shopping experience where residents and visitors alike will find a selection of goods at reasonable prices.
China Town will bring you the best in quality Chinese products at the lowest prices possible.
There will be 11 stores opened by Friday, November 1, selling homeware goods, cosmetics, clothing and shoes, lighting, car accessories, imported Chinese grocery items, luggage, bedding, party supplies and much more.
The initial shopping area will be in the region of 3 000m2 with the vision of another 3 000m2 by June 2020, incorporating a Chinese market and an eclectic mix of stores and stalls selling food and unique gifts and everything in between.
The vision for PE China Town by June of 2020 is a total trade area of 7 000m2 offering restaurants, clothing and fashion, hair and beauty, electronics, home and decor, bags, food, gifts and toys, fabrics, automotive and garden accessories and more.
The November 1 and 2 shopper can expect great opening discounts and prize give-aways.
There will be a spinning wheel inside the centre and when you produce a receipt from one of the stores you will get your chance at winning a prize which can be anything from a baseball cap to a TV. Luister FM will also be at the opening entertaining shoppers on Friday afternoon and Saturday morning.
The stores will be open from 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Sunday, however opening times may be subject to change over holiday seasons and as and when required.
