SWARTKOPS Valley United Brothers (SUBS) managed to claim a 2-1 victory over Bush Pirates during their ABC Motsepe League clash at Motherwell NU 2 Stadium on Friday evening.
Both sides played exciting football, with many great individual performances on both sides.
SUBS were rewarded with two goals while Pirates came up with a consolation goal, but couldn’t find an equaliser.
Sibanye FC, who were the force to be reckoned with in 2018/2019 season, went down 2-1 to Matta Milan, in front of their home supporters, in their game that was played at Adcock Stadium in Korsten.
Highbury FC suffered a 3-1 away defeat at the hands of Spear of the Nation at Kwabulala Sports Field in Mbhizana.
Peace Makers shared a hard fought 2-2 home draw with Mthatha Bucks at the Wolfson Stadium in Kwazakhele.
PE Stars’ loyal supporters were devastated when they saw their side suffering a 4-1 loss away to Amavarara FC at the Dumpy Adams Stadium in Komani.
