PEMADS is getting ready to present their annual family pantomime for 2019, Rapunzel – A Tangled Mess.
Written by PE theatre stalwarts, Leslie Speyers and Dawn Spence, it is proudly home-grown and bursting at the seams with fun, music, dance, laughter and a whole lot of pantomime antics, for both young and old.
The show features a fresh cast of young-professionals-in-training and some of PE’s favourite stage veterans. In the titular role and perfectly-cast is Megan Calder, supported by panto stalwarts, Dave Jordaan as Cookie, Daniel and Matthew Hamilton as Bowie and Jethro, Rob Andrews as King Richard and Sandi Osborne as Queen Sofia.
The show will run every night, except Mondays, from today, November 27, to December 14 at the Little Theatre, 7 Athol Fugard Terrace, with afternoon shows on November 30, as well as December 1, 7, 8 and 14. Tickets at R100 per person are available at Computicket.
