THE Boardwalk is calling on the community to join its annual sparkler and Christmas carols event on Friday, December 6, and help raise much needed funds for the Khayalethu Youth Centre.
Guests are invited to light up the skies with a sparkler and then join in singing Christmas carols along with The Scheubels.
The event will take place at 2nd Avenue, around The Boardwalk Lake, from 19:00 to 20:00 and is open to everyone.
Sparklers are on sale at R20 each at Namak Indian Cuisine Restaurant.
Proceeds raised from the sale of the sparklers will be donated to the Khayalethu Youth Centre.
The annual sparkler and Christmas carols event is always a spirited and heartening occasion, drawing more than 1 000 members of the community.
