THE IIE’s Varsity College Port Elizabeth recently hosted its orientation week and had a give back station during the ‘Get Connected’ session on the third day of the week.

This is the second year that the campus has incorporated a give back station during orientation week (O’week) where students had the opportunity to pack stationery packs which will later be donated to a primary school in need. The aim was to encourage students to, from the get go, make a difference within the community.

O’Week is an annual week of events designed for all first year students to help them familiarise themselves with the campus and to encourage them to engage and interact with each other.

O’Week provides first year students with the opportunity to network, make new friends and have fun at the same time.
