A GOSPEL fund-raising event will be held next Saturday for a local academic achiever.
Faygn Prinsloo, a Grade 12 learner at Alexander Road High School, has been invited to take part in the seventh annual Academic Achievers Tour to Europe in September.
The tour includes stops in Munich, Schwangau, Zurich, Geneva, Chamonix and Paris.
Together with visits to these cities, learners will be provided with the opportunity to experience a number of expeditions to iconic sites, as well as three private lectures at some of the world’s leading universities.
It will take place over 12 days over the September/October holidays.
Vocals for Christ will host the gospel evening fund-raiser for Faygn at the Pieter Rademeyer Community Hall in Algoa Park on March 14 at 19:00.
Entry is R60 per person.
