KABEGA Primary School recently won R10 000 for the school with the most entries in the River Mile.

They took part in the 5km fun run, the half mile, across the river swim, ladies’ mile and men’s mile.

Largo Sauls achieved third place in the half mile and Carl Andres a fourth place in the half mile. Carl Andrews was also rewarded for being the youngest swimmer to enter this race.

In the across the river race, most of Kabega Primary’s learners were placed in the top 15.

The boys were Zaydok Lottering (u/8, third place), Carl Andrews (u/10, second place) and Largo Sauls (u/12, third place).

The top girl was Simthandile Magazi (u/12, third place).
