THE Monocle Motorcycle Racing Series will be held at the Aldo Scribante Racetrack this weekend.

The series was founded in 2018 by a group of Battle of the TWINS (BOTTS) riders, who go by the name Rehab Racing. The dedicated motorcycle racing enthusiasts bring the opportunity for local motorcycle riders of any skill level to the race track to have fun and race.

Classes include:

The popular street bike series for riders who enjoy track days and have a basic skill level.

The 300cc class, aimed at young riders who are honing their skill levels for the senior classes.

The 600cc and 1 000cc class, open to all adrenaline-seeking riders.

Classics class, for riders who enjoy racing on bikes manufactured from 1975 to 1989.

The BOTTS class provides lots off “oohs”, and “aahs”, with some stylish Italian beauties on circuit. There’s lots of horsepower in this class, and turn seven should be very interesting.

Their first event in January drew more than 150 riders to Red Star Circuit, and they are expecting bumper grids at the Aldo Scribante Racetrack.

The Motorcycle Racing Series will be held at the Aldo Scribante Racetrack on Friday, March 6 and Saturday, March 7.

The gate fee for spectators is R50 per adult and free to children under 12.
