Re-Seconds Market: The market will take place on Sunday, November 24, at Walmer Town Hall. There will be clothing, food stalls, home decor, antique collectables and jewellery, as well as a jumping castle and live music. Christmas Picnic and Market: In a joint venture with Mowbray NG Kerk, the Newton Park SCF will host a community picnic at the Newton Park Primary sports field on November 30, from 14:00 to 20:00. Bring your baskets, blankets, family and friends. There will be food, vendors, a jumping castle, a visit from Santa and more. Tickets for the Christmas Raffle are available from Glen Hurd Supermarket, Mowarama, the Toy Museum in Worraker Street, Nautical Sports in Shirley Street, Percy at Newton Park Primary. The HalaalSoukPE: The indoor market will take place at the Malabar Community Centre on Sunday, December 1, and run from 10:00 to 17:00. Candlelighting: The Compassionate Friends – Child Loss Support Group will be having their yearly candlelighting on December 6 in memory of their babies/children who have passed. The event will take place at the Lorraine Full Gospel Church on the corner of Luneville and Van Eck Street, Lorraine. A light snack, beverage, a candle and a programme for the evening will be provided. There will be a special guest speaker. Entry is free for members. Non-members will be asked for a donation of R50.
