The official municipal funeral service of the former Executive Mayor, Councillor Mongameli Bobani, will be held on Friday, 20 November at the Feather Market Centre, Port Elizabeth.
Residents may watch the funeral proceedings live on the NMBM Facebook page. It will be held from 10:00 to 11:00.
Due to strict COVID19 regulations, only 100 people will be allowed in the venue.
Bobani, who was the current head of Infrastructure and Engineering of Nelson Mandela Bay Municipality, passed away on 11 November.
He was hospitalised on 20 October after testing positive for COVID-19.
