The Provincial Serious and Violent Crimes Unit in Gqeberha is investigating a triple murder that occurred earlier on November 23 in New Brighton.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Sandra Janse van Rensburg, at approximately 06:40, SAPS New Brighton responded to a complaint of a shooting that occurred on Ntintili Street.
She said on arrival, the police members found a white Kia with three occupants, one male on the driver side, one female in the front passenger seat, and one female just outside the vehicle. All three victims had multiple gunshot wounds to the body and are unknown at this stage.
“No further information is available at the moment.
“Three cases of murder were opened, and the investigation is underway,” she added.
