Lusikisiki police are seeking the public’s assistance in
finding Sifiso Rhawuzela (29) who was last seen on March 24, this year.
According to police spokesperson, Captain Khaya Tonjeni, it is alleged that on the day of his disappearance, Rhawuzela who was employed as a taxi driver reported to the
rank manager that he was transporting a person on a special request to
Flagstaff.
“No one has seen him
ever since and a search ensued soon after a case of a missing person was
reported. The vehicle he was driving was
found burnt to ashes at Gogoza locality in Port Edward, Kwa Zulu Natal but the
driver was not found,” Tonjeni said, adding that there were no indications that he might have
burnt inside the car.
Rhawuzela was last seen wearing a brown trouser, white shirt
and black shoes. His estimated height is
1.7 meters and is light in complexion.
“Anyone who has seen the missing man or has information that
can lead to the solving of the missing person case is kindly requested to share
valuable information with Lusikisiki Detectives by contacting Constable Mangqalaza
on 079 1612 0124 or Crime Stop number 086 000 10111 or the nearest police
station.
