MANCHESTER United lost their 2-1 first-half lead, as their fixture against SUBS, in the Motherwell Football Association (MOFA) Premier League, at Nelson Mandela Peace Park Grounds in Motherwell NU 3 on Sunday, ended in a 2-2 draw.
United’s goal poacher, Olwethu Chuku Mzizana, scored a top-notch opening goal.
Sethu Rasana pulled a long-range volley that beat SUBS’ goalkeeper to put United 2-0 ahead. At the stroke of half-time, Asenathi Yako replied with an opening goal for SUBS.
United kept on knocking on SUBS’ door, but their strikers shot wide of the goalposts.
Yako, who had an outstanding performance, tormented United’s defence.
United’s coach put Rasana’s younger brother, Unathi, into the fray, as a substitute central defender, and he marshalled the defence well.
Eventually, United’s defenders lost concentration and Yako was rewarded with his second goal, which levelled matters at 2–2.
