KwaZakhele SAPS detectives are seeking anyone who could provide credible information that leads to the arrest and successful prosecution of the suspect or suspects who gunned down a 46-year-old woman in KwaZakhele on Friday, March 7.
According to SAPS spokesperson Captain Sandra Janse Van Rensburg, at approximately 10:45, SAPS KwaZakhele responded to a complaint of an alleged shooting that occurred in Tshauka Street, KwaZakhele.
“Upon arrival, the officers found a white Chevrolet SS bakkie containing the body of a 46-year-old woman inside her vehicle with multiple gunshot wounds,” she added.
Currently, Janse Van Rensburg said that there is no further information available. However, a case of murder has been opened and is under investigation.
Police are urging anyone with information regarding the murder to contact the investigating officer, D/Col Anthea Hector, on 082 457 5036, or Crime Stop on 08600 10111, or the nearest police station.
