The 17-year-old Resego Tsolo from Kimberley is a finalist in the Miss Teen Glam SA pageant.

Walking the stage on 17 May at the Oaklands Inn and Conference Centre in Randburg, Gauteng, will be a new experience for her.

“I decided to enter because I wanted a platform where I could inspire other girls to be confident, love themselves, and believe in their worth. I believe every girl deserves to feel empowered and know that she is enough just the way she is,” says Resego.

She is passionate about making a difference, especially when it comes to mental health awareness and literacy.

“I believe that with the right support and encouragement, young girls can achieve anything. I want to be part of that positive change in South Africa.”

Resego is a learner at the Kimberley Girls’ High School.
