This July, the high-impact, travelling Mining and Technical Exhibitions (MTE) will visit the Northern Cape, and all mining and industrial professionals are invited.
Visiting what is known as one of the key mining regions of South Africa, the event will bring together suppliers and miners for an afternoon of direct on-the-ground engagement.
On the day, several suppliers will join the host to showcase their latest mining solutions along with live demonstrations, which miners can interact with.
MTE is a solutions-driven platform that brings industry stakeholders together to drive the mining industry forward.
Showcases include solutions to daily operational challenges, such as cost pressures and energy instability, and touch on a range of topics to among others include safety demands and the need for improved productivity.
Miners can ask questions, network and form long-lasting relationships with suppliers on a face-to-face level.
- The first stop will be on Tuesday 7 July at the Hotazel Recreation Club for the Hotazel Mining, Engineering and Mineral Processing Exhibition.
- This will be followed by the Kathu Mining, Engineering and Mineral Processing Exhibition on Thursday 9 July, at the Kathu High School.
- Both exhibitions take place from 13:00 to 17:00, at no charge for miners.
There will be over 60 exhibitors at Hotazel and 110 suppliers at Kathu, showcasing various solutions: from dust suppression, reverse osmosis and filtration; to water treatment systems, general new engineering technology, fire suppression, conveyor technology, screens, bearings and couplings. Pump solutions, mining machines, lifting equipment and trackless equipment will be on show.
Plenty of prizes and goodies can be won.
