Griquas U21 eyeing even greater success

The Griquas U21 team lost narrowly by 39 – 40 against the Griffons on Saturday, 19 October, during a semifinal match in Kimberley. This brings an end to their participation in this year’s SA Rugby U21 Shield tournament. However, it was the first time in many years that the Griquas U21 advanced to the semifinals. Next year, almost 70% of the players will still be in the team, enhancing their chances for even greater success. Here, Jaiden Faviers of the Griquas is seen in action during the match on Saturday.
