Another dominant performance from the Suzuki Griquas secured them a convincing SA Cup victory of 52 โ€“ 15 over the Valke on Saturday 14 March in the Barnard Stadium in Kempton Park.

A strong team effort secured a win and another important result towards realising the Griquas SA Cup dream.

The half-time score was 21 โ€“ 10, with the Griquas leading.

This was the Griquas’ second victory in this year’s SA Cup โ€“ in their first match they beat the Leopards with 101 โ€“ 7.

As Currie Cup champions, they aim to win both the SA Cup and Currie Cup in 2026. The Northern Cape team is still in position one of the SA Cup log, with a points difference of 131 and 10. They are followed by the Sanlam Boland Cavaliers and Airlink Pumas.

  • On Saturday 21 March at 15:00 the Griquas take on the Border Bulldogs at the Suzuki Stadium.

This event is also serving as “a match with a purpose” in support of the Ekapa Relief Food Drive in which 414 verified families are currently receiving support through the initiative.
