Distances include the full marathon, half marathon, 10km, and the ever-popular 5km fun run, making it an inclusive event for serious athletes, families, and first-time runners alike.
A highlight of the event is its unique and fast route, which starts and finishes at Mimosa Mall and takes runners past some of Bloemfontein’s most iconic landmarks.

Participants will run through the Tempe Military Base, the University of the Free State (UFS) main campus, and Grey College, supported by spectators along the way.
The marathon remains an official Comrades Marathon qualifier, giving long-distance runners the opportunity to test their endurance and secure a qualifying time early in the season.
Non-club runners participating over 10km, 21km or 42km will be required to obtain a temporary licence during the online entry process, while licensed club athletes may enter using their valid licence details.
