Stellenbosch: CoreFIBRE (Memory Resides Here) is on exhibition at GALLERY UNIVERSITY STELLENBOSCH until Saturday 11 July. The multifaceted exhibition features the work of Elizabeth Miller-Vermeulen for her seventh solo exhibition, which explores concepts of memory and materiality through a multidisciplinary practice that includes drawing, painting and assemblage. Admission is free. The museum operates from 09:00 to 16:00 from Tuesday to Friday, and from 10:00 to 14:00 on Saturday.

Stellenbosch: Mushroom lovers can experience a day of learning and foraging for wild mushrooms in the forests of DELHEIM WINE ESTATE with an expert guide. Stellenbosch: The special magic of the multi-award-winning musical Vincent – His Quest to Love and be Loved will be staged at the DROSTDY THEATRE at 19:00. Since its inception in 2022 the musical has travelled to Cape Town multiple times, with ongoing requests for its return. It stars Daniel Anderson accompanied by Paul Ferreira on piano, and is written and directed by Amanda Bothma. Anderson delves deep into the enigmatic life of the artist Vincent van Gogh, exploring the complexities of his relentless pursuit of artistic fulfilment and genuine human connection. SATURDAY 4 JULY

Stellenbosch: The popular Rumours of Fleetwood Mac tribute show returns to ASARA WINE ESTATE by popular demand. The show centres on the popular ’70s and ’80s pop group’s most successful album, Rumours (1977), which spent 31 weeks at the top of the Billboard chart. It’s a candid songwriting triumph that cemented the group’s status as one of the greatest bands of all time. Featuring a full band, Rumours of Fleetwood Mac takes the audience into an audio landscape filled with “classic time capsules of memory” with tracks such as “Go your own way”, “Don’t Stop”, “Dreams”, “Everywhere”, “Second-hand news” and more. The band comprises Guido Helm on bass and vocals, Greg Schoeman on guitar and vocals, Skye Wilson on acoustic guitar and vocals, Matt Catto on drums and vocals, and Sarah McArthur on keyboard and vocals. Show tickets do not include dinner, which can be ordered from an a la carte menu. There will also be a full bar service available. The show starts at 20:00 and dinner will be served from 18:00.
