Stellenbosch: VISIT STELLENBOSCH and the Animal Welfare Society Stellenbosch hosts Stellenbosch Cares: Warm Hearts, Full Bowls, a collection drive to ensure vulnerable animals stay warm and fed. It collects blankets, wet and dry pet food, treats and toys. Residents, business owners, schools, visitors – anyone who loves animals are invited to join this act of compassion. Drop donations off at Visit Stellenbosch, Church Street until Tuesday 30 June.
Stellenbosch: CoreFIBRE (Memory Resides Here) is currently on exhibition at GALLERY UNIVERSITY STELLENBOSCH until Saturday 11 July. The multifaceted and thought-provoking exhibition features the work of Elizabeth Miller-Vermeulen. This is her seventh solo exhibition, which explores concepts of memory and materiality through a multidisciplinary practice that includes drawing, painting and assemblage. Admission is free and the museum operates from 09:00 to 16:00 from Tuesday to Friday, and from 10:00 to 14:00 on Saturday.

Stellenbosch: Mushroom lovers can experience a day of learning and foraging for wild mushrooms in the forests of DELHEIM WINE ESTATE with an expert guide. The forests are home to over 20 species of wild mushrooms. Foraging sessions will be held from 09:30 to 13:30 on Friday 3 and Saturday 4 July, with new and experienced mushroom foragers welcome to collect their mushrooms. The cost is R550 per person. Stellenbosch: The Rumours of Fleetwood Mac tribute show returns to ASARA WINE ESTATE & HOTEL by popular demand. The show centres on the popular ’70s and ’80s pop group’s most successful album, Rumours. Featuring a full band made up of some of Cape Town’s top musicians, the show takes the audience into an audio landscape filled with classic time capsules of memory with tracks such as “Go your own way”, “Don’t Stop”, “Dreams”, “Everywhere”, “Second-hand news” and more. The band comprises Guido Helm on bass and vocals, Greg Schoeman on guitar and vocals, Skye Wilson on acoustic guitar and vocals, Matt Catto on drums and vocals, and Sarah McArthur on keyboard and vocals. Show tickets do not include dinner, which can be ordered from an a la carte menu. There will also be a full bar service available. The show starts at 20:00 and dinner will be served from 18:00.
