The Somerset West Municipal Court will be temporarily closed to the public at 13:00 this Friday (31 July), to allow for scheduled renovations.

The Somerset West Municipal Court will be temporarily closed to the public at 13:00 this Friday (31 July), to allow for scheduled renovations.

The court is set to reopen and resume normal operations on Monday 3 August.

Residents are encouraged to plan their visits accordingly. Payments for pre-due date traffic fines can still be made online at www.paythat.co.za, at selected Spar stores, or at any other municipal court during the closure period.

The City of Cape Town extended its apologies for any inconvenience caused, and said the public’s understanding is appreciated as these essential upgrades are carried out to improve the facility.

The Somerset West Municipal Court is located at the town hall, on the corner of Main Road and Church Street.
