The annual Jägermeister presents Up the Creek, is one of the most popular and coolest riverside getaways for music lovers in the Western Cape. Taking place at the Breede River near Swellendam from 7 to 10 February festivalgoers can expect a cocktail of superb live acts, all-day activities and wacky antics at the various stages, including the fantastic riverside setting.
With a line-up of bands and DJs that include Grassy Spark, Koos Kombuis, The Black Cat Bones, Femi Kaya, Piet Botha, Gerald Clark and the boys from Prague, Stoker, Jackal and the Wind, Crosscurrent, Lo-Ghost, Stone Jets, BRYNN, Bam Bam Brown, Zengeance, Greg Georgiades and Ultra Natives and The Steezies, festivalgoers are guaranteed a weekend to remember.
Artists will be performing on various stages on the premises, including the main stage, a unique river stage and late night rock and electronic stages.
An exciting stage for the 2019 festival will be the addition of a late-night rock ’n roll stage. Operating from the Gordon’s Gin Food Court stage, this rocking space will come alive Friday and Saturday, after the Jägermeister Main Stage finishes, and will offer live music enthusiasts something great to dig in to if they don’t fancy what is happening on the Savanna Late Night Stage.
This stage will be graced by some cool rock acts, including Hellcatts, Willim Welsyn and Bed on Bricks.
The Food Court will now also have a fully operational bar which will be open all day and night.
