The Kasi GBV Cup held in Zwelethemba, Worcester over the past weekend surpassed expectations with many teams registering to play.
GBV soccer tournament semi-finals will be held on Saturday 23 August at the Zwelethemba Stadium. Worcester Spurs FC will take on Worcester City at 11:00, while Batalion FC will square up against Rangers at 13:00. The entrance fee is R20 for adults and R10 for children.
In the netball finals, it was game on between Ikhwezi Netball Club and Worcester United, with Ikhwezi coming out tops.
Thirteen teams took part in the soccer challenge with Legends (Old Crocs) as the day’s winners.
