Sport Against Crime hosted a netball game between two Helderberg netball clubs, Gustrow United and Tarrie United, and one from Worcester, Shooters, on Saturday 21 May at the Esselenpark netball courts. The event was held to bring attention to the fight against gender-based violence and the dangers of more and more gangs emerging within the communities. Vincent Daniels, the president of Sport Gainst Crime addressed the players about these growing problems in society. At the end of the day, Tarrie United, from Broadlands Park in Strand, walked away as the winners.Photo: Tamsyn Jantjies
