A 45-year-old man died on Sunday (1 February) just before 07:00 after he was hit by a vehicle. The driver apparently fled the scene.
According to WO Vathiswa Jacobs, spokesperson of the Worcester Police, a resident saw the injured man lying next to the Robertson Road near the Rainbow chicken farm.
“The police examined the body and saw severe trauma and deformities,” WO Jacobs said.
The deceased has not been identified yet but the police are still on the lookout for the driver and the car.
The Worcester Police is investigating a case of culpable homicide.
