One of the four men involved in the racial attack which took place at the KFC in High Street on 3 July has been arrested and has appeared in the Worcester Magistrates’ Court.
Standard reported on the incident (Unprovoked attack in KFC queue, 14 July). Xola Letaba was allegedly attacked by Fouche van der Westhuizen and his friends in the drive-thru line at KFC in the early hours of 3 July. Letaba was stabbed in the arm and back and has since been in recovery. Van der Westhuizen was charged with assault with the intent to do grievous bodily harm and appeared in court on 14 July.
The case was postponed to 26 August.
