Worcester and surrounds businesses are invited to sign-up and join in a very fun way of raising funds for good causes.
The Rotary Club of Worcester in conjunction with Worcester Lions Club, Worcester Round Table 68 and Vryburger Omgeemense will be hosting the Service Club Laser Tag League.
The aim of this challenge is to invite local businesses to become involved in a different type of challenge to raise funds for local charities.
With each leg of the league, the winning team will receive a sum of money which they will be able to donate to a charity of their choice.
Laser tag is a recreational (harmless) shooting sport where participants use infrared-emitting light guns to tag designated targets. Infrared-sensitive signalling devices are commonly worn by each player to register hits and are sometimes integrated within the arena in which the game is played.
This is the first fund raising event of its kind in the Breede Valley and the Rotary Club plans on developing it into a bi-annual event.
The first League starts on 1 February at the Lions Club in Klue Street, Worcester at 18:30.
So come and have some fun and in doing so, help a good cause. For enquiries and entry details please phone Juanita at 082 766 0461.
