When olive oil production started, the English version of the farm’s original name – Wilgerivier – was adopted. The tree in the logo represents a willow and an olive tree; the curves represent the oil and the creek.

The first 15 000 litres of oil produced in 2002 were bottled in ceramic decanters, the mould of which was made from a branch from the farm’s first olive grove.

Willow Creek produces around 500 000 litres of oil each year, with olives from 210 000 trees in eight varietals across 265 hectares.

Willow Creek’s olive oil is extracted by a decanter centrifuge which can process 6,5 tonnes per hour. It is the largest local plant using this leading technology.

The estate is independently ranked #20 in the world and their Directors’ Reserve EVOO is ranked #50 by World Ranking Extra Virgin Olive Oils evooworldranking.org.
