The Legend Events group will host a dirt bike event at Nuy Valley to end off the year on a high note.

“We invite all dirt bike riders for a fun day of riding on magnificent routes and exclusive tracks that are normally inaccessible to the general public,” say the organisers, who pointed out that this event is not timed.

Two race categories exist, which the public can enter, namely the Funduro race at R350 per person, or the mini moto-X race, at R120 per person.

Both races will start at the Nuystasie NGK Primary School.

There will be a 35 km route that is suitable for all riders as well as one for more advance riders to test their skills, according to the organisers.

Online entries closes today (10 November), and late entries will also be accepted at the starting point from 07:00 to 08:30.

The first group will have to start their engines at 09:00 with the last group to depart at 09:30.

Stationery donations are also welcome which will be distributed to local schools in the area.

More information on the dirt bike event can be found at www.legendevents.co.za.
