Kleinplasie (KP’s) has just become the main gathering spot for people who enjoy good music and good braaivleis.
KP’s will officially open its doors on Friday 21 October at 14:00 till late.
The main idea behind KP’s is to provide a safe and relaxing environment for people over weekends, while the staff prepare and braai your meat for you.
The owners, however, would like to remind their clients to bring their own alcohol (for now), as the venue will only receive its liquor licence on 4 November.
After 4 November, you may enjoy red or white wine or KP’s unique imported German beer.
“We are not going to charge an entrance fee, but rather ask for R20 on entry, which will be subtracted from the final bill,” says Bruno Sturm, one of the owners of KP’s.
Safety is also a high priority for KP’s owners, who have engaged a well-known security agency to keep an eye on both the venue and customers’ vehicles.
“Our main focus is for people to come here and relax without worrying about whether their vehicles are safe outside,” says Sturm.
KP’s will be open on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, and customers are reminded to bring their own plates and cutlery. Meat, ice and drinks will be provided by KP’s.
Parents are also welcome to bring along their children and dogs, which must be on a leash.
Various DJs, including Jeremy Maart, will be at the venue over weekends to create the perfect vibe. So pack the cutlery, plates, family and your dog in the car and come enjoy your weekends at KP’s.
