A major development transpires within the local business sector when partnerships occur leading to business efficiency and accompanying enhancement. This took place with the formal opening of a truck-garage facility by Duferco Processing Steel (DSP) to Khula Khula Transport Services (KKT) in Vredenburg on Friday 20 March. This key moment in sustainable business development was marked by the unveiling of a commemorative plaque by KKT founder Michael Madangatya. He thanked DSP for the experience of working together to make this dream a reality, DSP saying it saw a bright future in this partnership. Madangatya bought the land in 2016, and construction of the building commenced in 2025 and was completed in February 2026. The building is seen as a symbol of hope and growth.
