Langebaan Stars Gymnastics Club delivered a strong performance at the WCC Championships in Saldanha on Friday 14 August, with gymnasts claiming gold and silver medals in the Pre-Level and Level 3 sections.
In the Pre-Level section, Mia Minnies took first place overall, followed by Juanné Schoeman in second and Laylah Barends in third.
Level 3 gold medallists were Kaylee-Ann Harford, Christell Potgieter, Kayla van Zyl, Nika Hofmeyr and Ayla Pedersen. Oratile Malatse, Tildah Bwizi and Laylah Barends secured second place overall.
The coaches congratulated all the gymnasts who competed, saying the results reflected their hard work, dedication and commitment to their very rigorous training.
