Free customer service course


The Velddrif Chamber of Commerce is urgently calling on local tourism, hospitality and service-related businesses to nominate staff members for a potential free NQF4 Customer Service Training Programme.

The opportunity follows an invitation from the Western Cape Government’s Department of Economic Development and Tourism for host towns to participate in the 2026 NQF4 Customer Service Training Programme.

The Velddrif Chamber of Commerce hopes to submit Velddrif for consideration, but requires an urgent list of interested participants to strengthen the town’s nomination.

Businesses operating within the tourism, hospitality, restaurant, guesthouse, accommodation, retail tourism and frontline service sectors are encouraged to nominate about two staff members each, who would benefit from the training.

The programme is designed to equip participants with essential skills aimed at improving customer service standards within the tourism and hospitality industries.Investing in people and service excellence can contribute towards stronger tourism growth and an even stronger Velddrif.
