Nominations for the 2023 National Teaching Awards (NTAs) are now open! Nominations close on 24 July.
The NTAs are a chance for us to recognise our teachers for their outstanding work throughout the year. Previous winners have gone on to achieve amazing things in the Western Cape Education Department (WCED), so we can’t wait to see what this year’s winners will bring to the table, the Department says.
All teachers, school governing bodies, and district officials are invited to submit nominations to their principals or centre managers.
A circular with the nomination guide and relevant application form has been sent to all schools, and these are also available on the WCED website:
The WCED encourages all of its teachers to take the opportunity to participate, so it can celebrate teaching excellence in the province.
