In a surprising turn of events, local authorities in Bethlehem have located a missing person under unusual circumstances. Mpho Kgauhelo Tsoeu, a 19-year-old resident of the Motsekuwa section of Bohlokong, Bethlehem, has been found to be in police custody after being reported missing by his family on Thursday, 25 September.
According to WO Mmako Mophiring, the official spokesperson for the SAPS in Bethlehem, Tsoeu is in prison after being charged with possession of what is presumed to be stolen goods. The Bohlokong police confirmed this new information on Monday, 29 September.
While the circumstances surrounding Tsoeu’s arrest and disappearance remain unclear, his family is now aware of his whereabouts.
The police continue with the investigation.
